the R27ERs are far better than what the US gets at this tier, this is the old SARH meta all over again, if the flanker was added you would be complaining that they favored the russian team, people has the SARH meta been gone long enough for you to forget how potent R-27ERs are, hell the normal R-27s are still very good. I am playing the soviets because I have more fun, I can see that the flanker is not needed

f14 iriaf gets hawks, fakours, aim54s, r27r1s, f15A gets 4 AIM9M against mig23 thats a tad unbalanced, and dont forget the f16s and f/a18s, and russia gets the yak141 which EVERYONE hated until it got the r73 but now everyone loves it bc its one of 2 jets russia can take into this battle

Yess also, i just like to see how 99% of the dudes abusing of the 4th gen planes in EEUU are dying and complaining a lot about the AAA’s lol, yeh, because they are fliying 4km above from us to destroy everything with their fakours

I know quite a few people that would disagree with that 141 slander, me included. Yeah the US has good planes, but the Su-27 in air to air is far more capable, and with 6 ERs and 4 R-73s it would just delete the US team

since i started playing everyone told me the yak141 is ass, dont grind it, and at the time russia had mid planes so i went for germany, and now suddenly bc its one of 2 jets russia can take and it has r73s everyone loves the yak

I am sorry to tell ya the Yak has always been good, people just didnt like to grind an end of the line plane without R-73s or R-77s. Before R-73s the Yak was the most fun you could have at that br bracket and now it changes nothing.

Anyone elsefeels like the map is a bit too saturated with long range saclos and radar spaa? Its basically like playing ground rb top tier but with multiple ground battlefields in a grid of 5 to 8 km. with maybe a 15 km zone in between redfor and blufor without ground units. And despite the roland systems for example are on the brink of uselessness in ground rb when controlled by a human, when controlled by ai as soon as you start a more vertical dogfight and dont scratch around the treebranches youre automatically dead, third partied by multiple sam systems.
Those should really be a bit more spread out to give some room for actual flying and maybe even dogfighting. Its ok as long as you zoom around at multipath height fortunately, but as soon as you go up you have s300, buk, osas, patriot, rolands and whatnot on you, rendering every actual dogfight in enemy controlled territory absolutely pointless and a lost cause.
Apart from that the gamemode is quite nice, finally something different from the usual air rb slugfest. Besides the balance problems, allowed vehicles (why exactly cant jets of the same br fight each other in this mode? Is their br not as equal as the number suggests?) and literally below 5, sometimes absolutely 0 people queueing for russia with 300 or more for USA (strange how that works gaijin). But for someone thats not used to higher tier jets this mode must be absolutely overwhelming, with the rwr constantly screaming at you from all angles while youre trying to stay out of harms way. Obviously then people would get a bit frustrated then to get constantly slapped out of the air ba a f14IRAF from 50 km away that they had no idea was there and had no idea the fakour was in terminal guidance less than 10 km away from them.
Harm testing is also…interesting to say the least. what a waste of hardpoints to bring those…100% interception rate.
