I do too, the issue is how many there are and how closely they’re all clustered near the frontline. Also the omnipotence of their radar control and their respawning mechanics. AI units should only be allowed to respawn from vehicle depots, and must transit to their desired location. Also, Osas and Flakrads should just flat out not fire when in transit.
I also wish they had an internal ammo counter which must be resupplied by logi trucks from ammunition depots.
Yes!!! They’re depots, theres no reason they should be all clustered near the frontline. They should be spread out over the entire map, with the current depot section being reserved for SHORAD, AI ground units and fortified frontline emplacements.
Hey heads up, there is a bug repport up for the fire/fuel cutt off system on this thing.
Currently not modeled, but would help against fires.
(No chemical EFS, good ol hydrolic fuel cut off with closing firewalls)
This or Starfighter. They zoom in with Mach 1.X and brrp you. Nothing you can do to prevent it. You can’t even climb, since they afterburn to bomber altitude in no time.
Anybody that thought either of those planes would be playable in any way had head trauma, it was blatantly obvious they where gimmicks that would be nothing but point piñatas for the enemy team if anybody was dumb enough to actually try to fly them in a real match.
I guess your friend has been fortunate enough to only fight people that can’t figure out how to launch an attack any way but an extended tail chase, like you say, skill issue, but for the people trying to kill him.
I’ve noticed some B-52’s/TU-95’s will take off from the airfield and then go around the edge of the map at low altitude, usually through mountains. And they’re the ones that live longer.
