Balanced in Realism, no. As a military enthusiast it annoys me they have SPAAs with every unit when in reality they were rare. But if you think about it, if they weren’t that annoying for NT, then it be easy mode bombing with nukes.
So they got a lot to work on if they’re doing this event in the future like addressing the SAM radar issue, easy mode flanking, and the suicide bombers on the Russian side.

And it would not “be easy mode bombing with nukes”; you seriously, genuinely, legitimately, sincerely, beyond a shadow of a doubt believe there would be absolutely ZERO players running interception? You are VERY, VERY, VERY sorely mistaken.
SPAAs are annoying and broken, and I for one am a proponent of lobotomizing them to the point of near uselessness if it means I get some peace and quiet trying to dogfight. People are going to suicide bomb either way, overpowered SPAA isn’t going to change that. If you think it is then I have a warm and sunny summer resort in Antarctica to sell you.
How come? F4E in RB doesn’t have the 9L, if R73 get’s added it’s for balance. 23MLD lacks with it’s air to air loadout.
BTW when i play USSR… ALWAYS lag . ALWAYS. Not one game without.

If they were going for fun, they would’ve thrown out all the mechanics and turn it into an arcade mode and everyone gets nukes and lob it into a target for points. Sure they could’ve addressed the Anti-Aircraft logic, I too would love it, but they didn’t because game developers always take the easiest routes and that was to add SP and move the bases than messing around with the AI.

Poor Trindade got intercepted but managed to nick the airfield. Weirdly seems to have glitched and shown up as 1450kT for bombing when it should’ve been 55kT? Bit of an odd glitch.
I wonder who would win the b52 with its huge bomb load or a depo defended by osa (lets ignore buk and s300)
Okay so maybe the AA IS too strong in some circumstances. So i would like to propose some balancing options.
-AA vehicles that move have to actively stop, activate the radar and THEN fire
-maybe add a fire delay? so the AA cant “spam” missiles and gives a time window for munitions? Would give (glide)bombs a chance without them being mass intercepted.
-make osa/roland radars affected by chaff. I know theyre saclos and technicaly dont need the radar, maybe add some kind of guidance delay so the guidance lags 0.5 seconds behind while target is dispensing chaff?
-Bradleys/BMPs/gun AA sems legit just dont get too close
-some AAs don even seem to lock you with the radar which causes the radar to not warn you (the random missiles from seemingly out of nowhere)

I think there should be even more ground targets with a longer frontline. What we have now is just not enough for these team sizes.

Most of the ARMs in this mode have IOG to continue engaging SAMs that turn their radars off (IRL)
AGM-88 and KH-25MPU tend to go stupid if the emitter they lock is turned off in game but this isn’t realistic behavior. Don’t remember if the other ARM on RU side has IOG but it probably does.
Later ARMs on US side (irl) also even come with MMW radar to attack radar emitters that turn their radar off and run.

Those devs aren’t devs… it’s just a graphic modeling department of some kind. Model planes, tanks etc…
They are good at it. But they aren’t good in making GAMEPLAY.

I mean… for this event they’ve done the opposite of Midas’ touch. They took an idea that is gold and they turned it to crap…and whatever (touch) fix they made it made it more crap…

The AI shouldn’t be firing missiles that cant be notched/ MP/ flared.
The event its such in a dumb state not gonna lie
The SP increase of Nukes was stupid
The nerf of rewards for air kills its also stupid
T1 Spaas are still insanely strong for no reason at all (impossible to play with the US without personal planes)
Queues made randomly,non stop joining of matches already finished making MY OWN plane locked cause of the game thinking stupidly
The increase of rewards for ground kills was ok but with the nerf of air kills…now everyone does ground killing and you cannot split all these AI across 15 people
The unabalance across planes F2P between US and USSR its absurd and Gaijin should rethink twice before putting 2 planes that arent even equal and calling them equal
To not talk about that for some reason now T3 SPAA starts shooting as soon you get off the airfields…
Is this a way to say to stop playing the gamemode or what
