I really wish they would. I do not have any facts or data, BUT I am wondering if it has something to do with the overall “AI” code that allows the map to function at these huge sizes. Not saying that it is “OK” that the SPAA’s are laser beaming us through hills, just that it might be “more complicated” than just turning down their stats.

Idk, hopefully we can see an improvement at least until the event is over. And/or see another one of these events very soon afterwards with appropriate SPAA abilities.

Hey, fix the broken matchmaker and AA/SPAA for the event, wtf is this joining a match that is literally over, just to join ANOTHER game about to end. Seriously, you should have just made the matchmaker non-choice related. You SHOULD have had it set so players simply join the event, then it automatically sorts and balances each team, with a preset of predetermined aircraft and loadouts to choose from for each team. It would have solved THE EXACT SAME ISSUE with every other event like this that has long queue times, instead of throwing me into a string of finished games. Don’t even get me started on the AA/SPAA ability to track. I’m burning treetops in full afterburn and an OSA tracks me from 10+km OVER A RIDGELINE AND THROUTH A HILL and absolutely claps my cheeks with a missile. Not to mention a BUK maintaining a track on me through a hill while I’m 20ft off the deck leaving a 1mi wake behind me, and slapping a missile in my face.

new cost for a b52 is 29 or so air kills which is good

Something similar happened to me.
Moreover, it seems illogical that a missile launcher could detect and hit a target on the back of a coastal slope, which is a blind spot for radar detection.
The coastline below Boca Azul from Tidewarter Point on the map has a fairly steep slope, and radar sites and missile launchers would be hidden by the terrain, making radar detection impossible. However, it’s puzzling that a Buk positioned in this area was shot down even after a low pass at 30 feet.

Then don’t make Rolands and Osas spawn in the convoys, instead just dedicate them to defending depots and strategic targets, Convoys should only have Gepard and Shilka as their cover.

I think, due to this mode having the US on one side, instead of Gepard, there probably should be the M163 VADS or M6 Linebackers (when do we get those in the game?) And maybe instead of Roland there could be MIM-72 Chaparrals.

Nerfing the fun part without buffing undoable a2g is bad.

And still no nerfs or anything for Osa and FlaRakPz 1, and CAS is still not easy if you are doing it solo.
