Nuclear thunder replay issue

I have a problem, I was trying to rewatch my nuke in the new April fool event, but the replay mode sends me back to the hangar after approximately 15 min.
Do you have an idea of how to fix this issue ?

It’s been an issue for a while now. Replays just stop working after a certain time. It varies though some only work for 15 minutes whilst some can last for 40 minutes.

Same here and it is extremelly annoying, cant get past 14-15 minutes when the thing I want to record is at around 40 minutes. It is 2026, get some people to fix it.

Have you guys tried using the Server replay and not the client replay? Not sure if it makes a difference but it might since the Server replays are stored in chunks instead of one large file like the client replay is (you can even selectively download just some parts of the Server replay if you want to).

Server replay works but it genuinely takes about 30-40 minutes to get through them at 16x speed since it only downloads 30mb at a time which takes ages to download each time for some reason.

But downloading them also doesn’t work, if you try to load any part that is after a certain time it just won’t load.

Interesting, haven’t heard about that before nor had that issue myself. I recommend sending in a bug report in that case. You can bug report it here (just search a bit first so that you don’t report something that is already reported and known about): (Gaijin.net // Issues)

A guide on how to report bugs can be found here: ([Navigation] Technical Knowledge Base | War Thunder Wiki)

Watching the server replay isn´t viable at all. I have to watch through the entire replay file even if the game has been going on for 20-30 minutes before I join it (server replay starts from the beginning of the game and the client replay starts when I join), and even if you use 16x speed you get paused to download 30 mb every 5 seconds.

When viewing the server replay on the main WT website you can choose to download the sections of it that you’re interested in. If you click “download replay” you get this:

Where each part is 30 seconds of the match, the above example is from one of my nuclear event matches that lasted 47 minutes and 47 seconds.

Not optimal, but it’s at least something until it’s reported and fixed.

how do you view the downloaded replay?

I haven’t personally done it but i guess through the same way you view the client replays, you should be able to either put the files in the same folder as the client replays or perhaps browse folders through that interface.

You have to download the files and place it into the Replays folder within your War Thunder folder.

But it suffers from the same issue of it not working if it’s too late into the match.

Report is up for the issue.

Tried that, placing the replays in the replay folder but they always show up blank without any information when I click the replay, when I try to view them the game crashes.

I’d also like to note that I can only find ONE replay of mine from nuclear thunder on the server replays website, when in reality I played ~18-19 missions between the 1st and the 3rd. I’ve attempted to mess with filters to no success, the server replays website is still insistent that I only participated in one game.

It’s quite frustrating as I wanted screenshots of a specific moment that took place at the very end of a match, which I currently have no way to access due to the issue described and the already aforementioned 15 min replay bug.

The only server replays that are viewable are the ones 4 ish hours after launch of the event, any searches that would result in a later match dont give any result.
