Yeah, good luck doing that IRL or in game, MMWR seekers have shit range and require lock on after launch to even be remotely useful and thanks to mbda being incapable (even as of now) of producing pesa/aesa seekers, they will have atrocious seeker angles and scan speed.
Basically a weapon only useful against tanks staying still in the open, or some other very niche scenario wich another weapon would deal with more efficently.
Once the lock on after launch is in the game, brimstones would be the last problem.
Spike and LMURS would rain in the GRB map endlessly and without any LOS required, and be actually effective because they have actual useful and modern seekers, not mmwr with 3-4km range and no 2 way datalink.
Kh59/agm130/spice would destroy every ground target in grb/sim without ever needing to go near the battlefield.
Good luck with your hellfire without man in the loop and requiring laser illumination to hit moving targets from more than a football field of distance.
Have you ever wondered why most mmwr seekers got IR or saclos guidance added?
TLDR mmwr seekers are not in game not becouse they are OP but becouse they require lock on after launch mechanics to be in game, wich people will cry to be added to every weapon it has IRL, amd thus breaking any sort of baLance there is between CAS and ground targets.
Oh good luck with HARM , ASM amd ARH missles fired pitbull…
Also IR and TV weapons can be fired at long range without LOAL thanks to the seeker beimg caoable of locking on the terrain feature, this concept has no sense with MMWR so without LOAL we are talking about a f&f weapon only being capable of being fired from 3-5 km.
Tl.dr : LOAL will be cancer and mmwr are only kind auseful with LOAL, without LOAL we are talking about 3-5km seeker range
