Nuclear Escalation Returns!

One thing I’ve noticed and is objectively an awful change is the removal of CCRP for the nuke bombers on both sides. Were nuclear bomb tosses so unbalanced/safe that you’d remove a historical and legitimate method of delivery?

I did too but any competent m23 player will just sandwich you with r24r and reduce to atoms

I just stayed in the lower br bracket, but yes the F4S was farming, but that doesnt mean the free vehicles werent fun. I enjoyed the phantom.

Honestly I only spawned my 18E to do some anti ship stuff to try that out. Wouldn’t be too bad if my plane wasn’t having a seizure every 2 seconds.

yeah well the only thing i could possibly use is the eurofighter which gets a solid 2 HARM and the tornado GR.4 isnt allowed

Spawn costs are way too high for how easy it is to get killed by anything, like the horrible lag atm. Please reduce them to 1k or lower until you can get a handle on the server issues.

And consider limiting the acq range of the SAMs. It’s not fun to be engaged by 3 sites within seconds of taking off. This is more stressful than ARB atm…

25m from ground and i get domed by an RVV something by a guy who suicide rushed altitude to fire off his missiles.

Zero skill, horrible game mode, horrible bvr usage, horrible server

Now i have actually tried the gamemode, litterally the first iteration of the april fools, after minths of “work” the only problem resolved during april fools AKA BR gap and server connection came back , and every problem unresolved aka saclos spaa not using search radar (invulnerable to ARM), Saclos spaa spawning in convoys (invulneranle to HARM even more and not possible to target with gps weapons) , long rang SAM firing on litterally anything. I can see the server issues as something expected, but everything else is litterally a 5min fix of some values (IA ITO90 used theyr search radar on ARB for years). So i wanna ask, what work was done that justified momths of avsence of the mode, and now adding it for only 5 days, just to not change anythimg again?

Also thanks to the non persistant lobby half the time you get put into a basically ended game, wich also has server issues(server degrades heabilya s the battle goes on) , and the more people drop near end game the more the matchmaker puts you into finished games. Without persistent lobbies this mode will have a very short lifespan and will inherit all the issues from air sim.

xD played my first one on blue side and holy Buk/Su-30 combo. Once your first airfield defences are gone it’s gg for the rest.

I don’t think I’ve yet to see a S-300 or whatever it is do anything at all. Never even popped up on RWR 😂

Kh-31 is goated… Meteor-like you could say… doing 100 km in roughly 95 seconds.

For the most part I’ve just been trying to see if the other jets besides the usual can even get close to Mach 2 (while also dodging incoming missiles… and there were several)… it takes a while every time xD

I can’t wait for long range ARH… so many times I’d look at a guy 70-90 km away and I’d think… “if I had a Meteor missile this would be ez”.

Just look at the scoreboard, LITTERALY UNPLAYABLE for USA, you can do nothing, every munition you use against AI are destroyed to ASHES by enemy AA.
The game is letteraly one hour of nothing hoping AA stop destroying your munition, and also GBU-53 don’t even work. Every guidance munition with GPS seems to drift way to much that they all miss target

Why don’t we get the planes that you could use even without a proper aircraft for the BR???

What is Gaijin’s obsession with Nuclear Thunder, I mean, it was supposed to be for April Fool’s, and now it’s back for little reason? It feels like there is an ulterior motive behind this

This mode has been made into a worse than the original, the cooldown ruins all of the fun of the original one, the anti airs literally have zero reload, no one wants to play anything that involves fighting Russian weapons systems so the precious queue times have risen, the anti airs such as the BUKs and Pantsirs are literally bloodthirsty and will send a missile to your direction the MOMENT you even get pinged on their radars, and instead of balancing the mode and listening to players, the mode is now a hopeless shell of its former self, there is zero fun to be had in this gamemode anymore.

I want to be able to bring my Strike Aircraft like the Tornado or Harrier GR7 but they are too low br. You should just need a single 13.0+ plane in your lineup, but be able to take lower br planes out too.
