How did it come to this :OOOO did they take off from the furthest airfield back? Even when playing red I found it difficult to penetrate spyders and SAMP/Ts to reach that airfield

im flying in my own air space and i still get killed by a pantsir, or i climb to shoot an r27er or pl12 by 30m and then my RWR is lit up with SU30s and 5 seconds later i get slimed by an R-77-1 while notching

In my experience the most reliable way to do cap is to go to about 10-12km alt and maintain a high speed of abt Mach 1.5-2 as it’ll give you more room to maneuver and force enemy missiles to cover greater distances, multipath is more for cas and sead playing

And I think PESA or AESA radar is necessary to give you a good situational awareness

Like i sad pantsir and ITO do the same thing, they kill you near the frontline, and while at low/medium altitude.

R-77 killing you is just what the game is supposed to be , su30sm have very good radar and a lot of missles, they will kill you if they have better position

Grrr to use the premium flankers for cap when it faces 14.7 and 14.3 evil doers will be really difficult as they are better than you in nearly every way(flight performance, avionics, missile count, countermeasure count)

i carry 96 chaff if i have no flares, i have a mechanical radar, low search zone, IFF aint working idk why, cant really fight back since SU30SM2s have well over 120 large calibre chaff, and can notch and still lock me

Erm, they carry less than 100 large cm as well.

It’s a pain, the same hapoens with su27/33 against eurofighters.

Next test will be better balanced BR wise

If you launch from bottom aspect and dont datalink the missile you could say it is easier to be notched if the player is experienced

That “somehow” is a pK, which WT doesn’t model.
Namely, it’s fusing and guidance issues, as a consequence of target’s speed and RCS, etc, so not every launched missile hits if not kinetically/kinematically defeated.

No they just reset the radar settings, you can still decide the IFF filters and they wil remain on every radar by just setting it on a single one.

As long as this gamemode remains hidden behind Simulator battles, a huge portion of the community will continue to be unaware of it and it won’t yield enough positive community wide feedback.

What’ll happen is the same thing that happened with the Advance gamemode - most players weren’t aware it was even there.

Incorporate these gamemodes into RB rotation please, and provide us with rewards matching RB!
