Now With the M1 being Brought to 10.7, Can We Finally Receive M833?

That’s crazy. It’s almost like you then can reliably shoot the turret ring with the 2S38 or BMP-2M, after noticing the MBT around the corner is simply an Abrams.

Congratulations you figured out how to play any toptier MBT well besides the challenger and merkava

Why would I be extremely careful in a 2A7, or a 2A4 for that matter?
There is nothing to be extremely scared of when facing a BMP-2M other than the ATGMs it gets.

Yeah you’re right you can do if the abrams isnt staring at you otherwise you’re gonna get instantly oneshot 90% of the time then again US players are worse than every other nations players usually so more like a 70% chance

I am simply stating the fact that the turret ring is more than just a weakspot for MBTs. It’s a universal area for any vehicle with APDS / APFSDS of more than 80mm+ of pen to shoot for, which can reliably kill or cripple this ‘MBT’.

And I am simply stating that it is acknowledged that this going to be changed so it is irrelevant, and it is further irrelevant when discussing the armour profile of the M1 in relation to other MBTs it faces and the ammunition they use which was the main focus of the topic.

You have no clue whether this ‘change’ is going to be a buff or nerf. So from what we have now, it’s very relevant.

Ad hominem much?

On the other hand, good luck killing a Leopard 2A4 from the front with 30mm APFSDS reliably.

Ideally im not going to engage any MBT frontally

You can’t always be in ideal situations. It’s just a fact of the game.
I would never want to expose an extremely weak spot on my tank, such as the turret ring of the M1 abrams, or the LFP of the Challenger, but that would be impossible to maintain.

In response to

You decided to suddenly throw in the 2A7 and make a point that its immune to 30mm from the front almost so you can play it holding W even though it barely relates to

In which i hadn’t mentioned 30mm avoiding this point makes you seem dense and disingenuous

Yes I’m sure they are simply going to make the turret ring thinner. Let’s go with that one. And if we are going by how it is just now then the vehicle is fine as it is, faults included as it remains at the BR where it has been for a very long period of time whilst being highly played.

Still ducking responsibility, eh? Toxicity at its finest.

Turret ring still seems exposed lol

Da.

Turret down is when you’re behind a hill completely.

Edit: Or we can flip our tanks! Sure, the ultimate Abrams rollover drill.

None of these pictures are related to what you are replying to. You are not showing the leopard 2A4 in comparison to these shells (of which multiple are at a high BR than the M1) and you have not shown all the shells from other vehicles such as the 2A4.

I see you have no interest in actual rational discussion.

What difference does it matter if it were a 2A7 or a 2A4 in that instance?
They both cannot be reliably penned by a 30mm.

I claimed that the Abrams plays more like a light MBT than an actual MBT which can rely on armour against relatively small calibers, like 30mms.

You are simply making a statement here.
What point are you making here - that I didn’t know how to play any toptier MBT?

Again, my point was that you can play the 2A4 like the Abrams, but you cannot play the M1 Abrams in some ways that you could with the 2A4.

This doesn’t mean that you should always rely on your armour in a 2A4 - just that you can, more often than not, use it against those types of threats more effectively than with the Abrams.

You replying to this implies that.
AKA, believing that you must play extremely cautiously with any and all top tier MBTs, without ever relying on their armour.

Your irrational headcanon in relation to private profiles has no bearing on the topic being discussed. It’s amazing how heavily you’re trying to derail your own thread at this point out of spite.
