I must preface this by saying I have no idea how accurate this heat map is but apparently it was updated 4 days ago on the war thunder data project
So it appears that gaijin is doing a pretty good job of balancing except for a few areas. the area around the Abrams being one of them

Two years of 40 percent win rates, but it’s because the players all stink, it has nothing to do with the tank being caught lacking in certain areas.
Wanna know why Necrons plays M1A1 and IPM1? Because he’d get more downtiers to fight those premium 10.3 new guys, and still have a 120 to fight with, or an M900. Less chance he has to suffer at top tier with Clickbaits. He knows the “sweet spot”, and chases after it, until recently.
I’m asking for the M833 for the rest of the folks who want to fight elsewhere in 10.0-10.7.

I don’t think it’s a good idea to be attacking necrons just because he wants to have fun but I do agree with the whole it’s doing fine it’s based on the masses to be disingenuous

Totally fair criticism. Necrons has ignored me for months. I’m reiterating what he said, not merely attacking him. Those are his words, that he chose to play just under top tier to avoid premium top tier new players.
The fact that he hasn’t shared M1 Abrams gameplay of late, but chooses those tanks with the most advantages, is totally his right.
So I can’t hate him for that.
But, I can make suggestions to improve the M1 and give it some leverage in fighting at the new Battle Rating.

Where’s this 108 mm that you’re talking about I’m talking about flat pen numbers and already acknowledge that I can’t really go by that because there’s many differences between apds and apfsds

Thanks for admitting you have no clue how the differences between APDS and APFSDS short/long rod work along with having no clue why everyone uses 60° and not 0° to measure shell performance its clear im wasting my time here.

He is right tho cause a decent angle will cause the apds shell to shatter on thick armour, even if it has the flat penetration to go through.

my idea is gaijin wont fix the Abrams, because they know from bug reports and from accepted source that nothing in the game would be able to penetrate the Abrams armor
