Normalization of post-pen spall

Look at this: IRL the fragments of the shell exit closer towards the plate’s normal, but in WT they just fly horizontally after penetrating the armour.

Do you think Gaijin should implement this feature into the game?

Update: Apparently this happens only when the penetrator’s nose is eroding, if it doesn’t, the shell turns away from the plate’s normal.

For starters it would be nice, if APHE didn’t explode like a nuke 😂

Italian vehicles with the 47mm are doing only so well at their BR because they knock out everything with single penetration. It’s fun but it’s also kinda stupid.

First we fix APHE behavour, then we worry whether normalization of shells and fragments should be a thing.
Next, whether shells should penetrate instead of perforating the armor and bouncing off or APHE fuze failing against thick sloped armor.

Also we make ammo explode when hit directly from any type of AP round, instead of turning yellow or orange.

Gaijin will never “fix” it, you know it.
Now what? Are we supposed to stop trying to improve the game in any way until it happens? (which, again, will not)

Idk. Gaijin really likes to completely mess with game mechanics and when they are not working correctly yet.

They added this realShatter stat to a lot of shells, had it bugged for months and then finally fixed it.
No clue what the point was.
They also stopped implementing this mechanic to rounds that didn’t have it so far.
Probably they think they’re done and just waiting for someone to remind them what they missed.

I don’t think that it will stay like that forever.
