Well I’m sure we will see it one day hopefully soon. Though it had some issues with Thailand overall it seemed to have done its job well enough for the price paid.

Sadly more vehicles of the same chassis doesn’t help. There’s 2 premium Crusader tanks in the British tree, 4 tech-tree versions in the British tree and 1 tech-tree version in the French tree. There’s like a dozen bugs still waiting to be fixed, some 8 years or more.
They tend to apply newer knowledge when adding new vehicles. For example when the VT-4 Demonstrator was added to the Chinese tree they reworked the way the ERA is set up, which was then applied to the existing VT-4A1 as well. After that with two VT-4 tanks in game we also got spall liners for them.
Sure, this didn’t magically fix everything and there is still issues left, but because it was added some issues were fixed.

for the general Japanese sub tree I am looking forward to the PT-91M can never have enough Soviet Style MBTs outside of USSR. Then again VT-4 is soviet style but by goddess there going to suck in infantry mode against RPG roof campers.
