Anybody also experiencing this? It happened to me in both Air and ground realistic battles. Sometimes, when I crit a plane, and the enemy plane crashes afterwards, I dont get any award for killing it and the killfeed just says that the enemy crashed.
It happened to me most recently when I hit SU-25 with Mistral, got critical hit and after he killed me, he proceeded to crash into the ground, but I got no award.
Does gaijin know about this issue?

Had one yesterday where I critted someone with bombs right before the game ended and… no credit for nothin’.
There is a chance that perhaps the game calculated that the ground did more damage than you did, therefore . . . it was determined to be a crash . . . or something. Hit detection/hitboxes, damage modelling and even collision mechanics can all look one way and be determined another way by the game from time to time. Prolly easier to just say ok, and hope for better results next time. I mean it’s not like any of that stuff is ever gonna be reversed or anything . . . “acceptance is the key to serenity”
Just remember, you can do everything right, not make a single mistake and still not get the results you wanted or expected . . just how it goes sometimes
But I thought the player is awarded the kill even after he gets even a single hit on the enemy? Like the game knows that he got hit, so crash into the ground is considered as a kill for the attacking player. Because otherwise, I could just crash into the ground everytime I get hit so the enemy doesnt get a kill for that.
Sorry man this is nonsense.
If you dig deep enough in the old forum you will find threads about the underlying issues:
- A lot of crits (depending what you hit) have timers on them…after a certain time you don’t even get an assist for critted planes
- The damage / kill assignment in the match is often contradictory to the battlelog of the replay. So whilst you were not rewarded with a kill in the game, the battle log of the replays says you were credited with the kill.
In general this is correct, but sometimes (see your own experiences) it is not working. From my pov this happens in around 1-2% of my matches - but usually nobody notices this.
I had recently a match in which i was rewarded with 2 x severe damage caused by the same hit without the enemy repaired. The replay battle log says kill - the result screen (and battle summary via email) says no kill - and just rewarded me with 2 times severe damage - and not with the kill…
Just another example of how this game is bugged…
I case you are desperate for SLs - contact support. I got last year 3 times 5.000 SL as the game refused me to reward me for the first and last kill. As the battlelog confirmed my claims they granted me for each of these cases the missing 5.000 SL.
The fact that this happened 3 times in 2 or 3 weeks is proof enough that some topics need more attention. I just gave up to report those bugs - gaijin is not touching them.

Thank you for your explanation. Im not going to contact support, as I dont really have lack of SL, I mainly wrote this because I was furious, that game, I got spawncamped twice on 2 different spawns and this happened right afterwards. You probably can imagine that I wanted to demolish my whole house. Luckily everything survived and I caused no harm to any of my devices :D
This is imho the main strength of wt - the game is able to keep you emotionally attached - even after several years…
Check your replay (mainly the battle log) - and if this proves your claims, they might help you…
