No engine sound on my own vehicle unless im looking to the side of the vehicle

Okay so for the last 2 weeks i have had a audio bug where i cannot hear my engine if im looking forward or back relative to my vehicle front and back. I do however continue to hear the turning of the turret, repair noises, the sound of the suspension, gunfire and everything else.

I have seen this topic come up in bug reports and troubleshooting help, but there isnt a clear solution given on most of them.

So far i have tried to totally uninstall the game, both by uninstalling it through steam and also deleting the left over files, i have attempted both my head phones and my speakers (both produce the same problem) i have tried reinstalling audio drivers, changing sound to and from stereo.

I fixed the issue, here is how i did it.

I am a windows 11 device, i went to my audio settings and toggled spatial sound for headphones, presumably after it had been toggled off by window’s for some reason. From digging through ALOT of threads i finally found that sometimes audio updates toggle this off and it will cause the effect.
