I have no place to acquire a custom sight in the game. I have a custom sight folder and a sight loaded in the folder, but in the hangar when I open options and go to common battle settings there are no listings for my new sights. I tried doing the file check provided at the beginning of the game but no help . I even tried unloading the game and reloading. I thought it would be correct itself, but no such luck. If anyone knows what I’m doing wrong it would help a lot if I could get this fixed. Thank you for any help you might be able to give.

It is not all updated but old procedures still correct for sight download on the live war thunder
Dont hesite if that not solve your problem.
And in the new interface, you must select “user sight” in the menu in top right, and you find the downloaded sight in “reticle” menu.

Not outdated for all.
For a sight from war thunder live, it’s still work: i do few sight after the rework. I send here tomorow few screens if you want.
Would say you should update the 2023 version with a 2024 rendition, aka add a 2nd post. Since there are still some differences between the old and new.

This is DEFINITELY outdated, as the new sight customization system entirely overrides it and doesn’t allow you to enable any sight you have in your folder.
The interface is different, but you can still install sights from the war thunder live with that procedures.
I created a sight for the KV-7 (by the way, I’ll have to post it)
I will rework the tutorial when i have time.
Pretty sure the custom sites show up when you go into the site customisation and select the cross-hair type not a preset.

Custom sights are in Ground category now, nto in Common.
