- NF-5A: combat flap position polar blending increased from 0.2 to 0.3, which will mean combat flaps will now blend 30% into the full flaps polar rather than 20% previously

Currently it’s not, as it’s not 50% off yet. And even then you might get better results with the Mirage F1C premium.
But if you are a decent pilot, then yes. You’ll grind the whole tech tree in a matter of time.
I indeed wouldn’t get it now, but rather wait until it’s 50% off. Personally, I find the F-5 family quite fun to play. So it can definitely be worth the money if you’re interested in the plane itself and not just 100% for the research. But of course, the research can still be done quite well with it.

Unless you want the pre-order title, decal, skin else it’s best to wait for it to be on sale.
Edit: I personally got it due to the Canadian pre-order livery. I was originally going to wait until it was on sale, as I needed it for my Canadian-built collection.

Edit: Yes, it’s in WT-essence an AIM-9J (like I said). The NF-5A does however get a weaker engine than the F-5E and lacks a radar and guided ordinance like Bullpups or mavericks. It’s right inbetween an F-5C with the ahistorical flares and the F-5E.
Both the 10.7 and the 11.0 BR for Air Realistic could be justified. For other gamemodes, like Ground Realistic or air/ground simulator 10.3 or 10.7 would be more justified.
I really hope Gaijin adds some extra liveries before this plane hits the live server, as it has some great looking ones.

It’s quite the upgrade over the F-5A/C, at what I thought was a lower BR. Instead, it’s the same BR as the A/C. Still too low I think but not nearly as much as I initially thought.
So yes, extremely strong premium.
Dont forget, the chinese f5a at 10.7 also gets aim9J compared to the aim9e on the f5c and american f5a
If there were a BR between 10.7 and 11.0 it would belong there but considering the f5ag is 11.0, 10.7 will be fine for this thing

Cockpit got added with the new patch
It’s almost 98% accurate to the manuals we have on the NF-5A, so a great job by the modellers working for Gaijin. :D
Notable differences are the lack of a sight-recorder camera and the addition of the CCU (cockpit controle unit) for the countermeasures, which, being a MLU upgrade, wasn’t present in the manuals.
