It reached a top speed of Mach 2 so slower

This specific F-15 is an F-15B, serial number 71-0290.
And to be totally accurate, this aircraft is what happens when an Eagle steals the stabilators from a Hornet. No Gripen involvement, she’s all american.
Not entirely sure if any of the teen series (F-15 ACTIVE, X-62 VISTA and F/A-18 MATV) manoever testbeds can mount weapons, but that hasn’t stopped the snail before (Freestyle).

The mounts are most likely there still, unless they we’re completely removed when they were being used

Last I heard it was just a technology demonstrater, with its fine even removed. I don’t think it has the ability to carry or fire missiles, nor countermeasures. I read somewhere that it might be able to mount a Vulcan gun pod, but that’s about it…

No, I don’t think it can. Could you find proof it can even mount and fire missiles, as last I saw it was only modified to be capable of testing and demonstrating STOL and thrust vectoring technology, not to mention the lack of the gun still…
The T8-1 was the first prototype of the Su-25 attack aircraft. The T8-1 did not have a reservation, had lower-power engines and did not have air brakes at the ends of the wings. He also did not have guided weapons. He was armed with a GSH-23 cannon in a ventral gantry.

There are other exprimental airplanes that can be added and just need the “What if” approach.
Like EWR VJ 101 kind of a star figther but not ;-)
