oh ok thanks for the correction I thought it was the same
i mean , as i said " those turret tend to be miss-identified between each-other" , your by far not the only that did said mistake
the VBR with the Multipurpose Combat Vehicle (MPCV) turret (under it’s prototype version , mistral) and the renault sherpa with the production version of the Multipurpose Combat Vehicle (MPCV) turret (mistral) can also fit that role , you just downgrade the gun to just it being a 12.7 machine-gun
(PS : i mention the mistral , since for the prototype turret , a version with MILAN was thought of , and for the production turret , a version of it utilizes Akeron MP)
VAB with the 20mm is good to have indeed (VAB T20/13)
But VAB with CTA40 is better ! :p
Yi-Xian before 2nd Sino-Japanese War (1 x 15cm L50 fore and 1 x 14cm L50 aft plus 4 x 75mm L40 AA); the one I initially posted is post-war configuration (1 x 12cm L45 DP fore plus 7 x AA autocannons & 6 x 7.7mm MG).
Which one would fare better in War Thunder Coastal Fleet?
Sorry, I can’t stop gaijin add another ground vehicle from indian to great britain tech tree in the future
Gaijin will do anything but giving France and china it’s tam-2 competitors
This turret isn’t stabilised. Neither is the MARS 15 TML 105 (here’s the colour photo):
This one is stabilised. This is because it is using the SAVAN 15 gunner sight (same found on the Vextra 105).
There’s also another SPHINX:
Though the optics are mock-up.
Chance Vought F4U-5 Corsair
Chance Vought F4U-5N Corsair
Consolidated B-24H or J Liberator
4-lb thermite bombs for B-29 Superfortress (really want to see the saturation bombing effect of 20,000 lb of these tiny critters burning furiously)
There is also the option to combine our ideas
Sherman is a tall tank
Thanks for the additional information
from Elbit site:
"Elisra’s Airborne Electronic Warfare (AEW) suites deliver a full range of capabilities including Radar Warning (RW), laser warning ECM, and Missile Warning Systems (MWS) that integrate chaff/flare, directed countermeasures and more. Capabilities also include networking and embedded EW training.
Elisra’s EW suites incorporate operationally-proven features capabilities such as IR-CENTRIC TM multi-function, multi-mission capabilities and re-programming tools that significantly shorten re-programming, the sensor-to-weapon loop and boost mission execution capabilities, crew and
Airborne_Self_Protection"
From the national interest:
“Arguably, the most significant modification made to the F-16I Sufa is in its electronic warfare suite and avionics. Approximately half of the Falcon’s avionics were replaced with Israeli innovations including the aerial towed decoy. The Sufa’s electronic warfare suite incorporates radar warning systems and jamming capabilities, including the Elisra SPS 3000 self-protection jammer.”
and Elbit produces smart helmets and replaces all the sights, including the sights of the F35’s
There is also the new Sky spear long range Missile,
If you want the full list of IAF weapons open “List of munitions used by the Israeli Air Force” In wikipedia
also you forgot about the I-Derby ER missile which is much better than the aim 120b and the Python 5 is BVRAAM It is good for Dogfight and at long ranges Python_AFA on Vimeo “It is both a short-range missile ideal for dogfights and, at the same time, is a near BVR missile – presenting a substantially extended envelope in head-on scenarios.” from Rafael. (it has a dual Imaging Seeker)
But like they did to the Spike they will probably give it a serious Nerf (Spike is a Top attack NLOS missile)
@oom1992 @adjacent-beetle0
thanks for the info I thought they were both stabilized but one didn’t have thermal or something like this
also what’s the differences between the 2 SPHYNX ?
One is a Cockerill turret, the other is Lockheed Martin turret. I don’t know anything about the LM turret, but the Cockerill turret has a ready rack of 250 rounds - for reference the EBRC Jaguar only has a ready rack of 68 rounds.
Whoever came up with that design deserves an award

Scarabee fitted with the Hornet Akeron MP RCWS. The Scarabee was Arquus’ earlybird proposal for the French VBAE program.
- 50 hp/t
- 130 km/h top speed
- And it can crab walk
Damn this crab walk is funny !
But doubt this could happen in the game, we don’t even have regenerative steering so something like that seems hard to add ^^
I believe the last photo is the swiss version that is with a turret
