Despite 500+ built and serving from 1937-43 it’s firmly in the Forgotten Plane bin. Like so many of the Russian planes during the Barbarossa they were badly mauled and many became relics for the invading forces.

The T249 Vigilante reminds me of the Vulcan Armored Car
Its the if its bigger it might get better kind of solution. Though I see the T249 being more of a anti-tank monster then anti-air.
