wouldnt work for these ones, but even other submunitions would need to be modeled as HEAT over KE

They are the anti-tank sub munition. I think the issue is balance and team kill risk then again we do have massive bombs and people get team killed anyway.
SLAAF Pucara for UK or China. It can also go to israel since Sri Lanka has decent military relations with Israel.

ASM-3A for the next update is just the right time, at this point it is needed for toptier Nuclear Escalation, especially if there is more modern escort/better CIWS on carrier.
And the only ARM’s in JPN tech-tree are not even from Japan.
Ramjet is in-game, sea-skimming is in-game, anti-navire mach 3+ is in-game, ARM is in-game, Modern sea targets are in-game,…
Now is the time or later it will be obsolete.

That’s for sure buddy, also they really have to add GCS-1, all nations have rivals to it, and japan does lack in this regard, also the bomb has been in the game files for a long time.
Anti-ship guided bombs are a bit obscure, most nations just use AShM’s instead of bombs
i meant that they add it for anti ground role, i think it could be used to attack them right ?
Not against tanks/vehicles, big heat signatures only
Anti-ship bombs would probably be better in WT then the ASMs especially since every japan fighter can carry them and a good amount

Its a lot of time spent getting close enough, getting through the enemy air and AA defences
They are fire and forget just go to high altitude set a bombing way point and drop them all near the ship area they will lock on to a target automatically

Or you can just use AShM’s from low altitude, skip all that
They do basically no damage snd easily get intercepted and you carry not that many. These IR bombs you can carry a lot more, enough for several to get through snd since they are bombs they would certainly kill unlike how ASMs are currently modeled

Its the same fire and forget guidance mechanic, they have the same system of targeting random modules which can cause low damage
