I’m hoping Gaijin considers dedicating a major update purely to fixing standing issues and inconsistencies in the game, rather than pushing more content. There are a few areas in particular that have needed attention for a long time:
Missile behavior - The AIM-9M in particular has some baffling moments, like pulling max g’s to go left rather than tracking the actual target, even without a flare being used. Missile logic in general has some quirks that feel more like bugs than intended behavior.
Volumetric inconsistencies - Shells clipping, bouncing, or behaving oddly in ways that don’t match expectations. This one has been around forever so it likely wont be fixed.
BMPT balance - It’s still overperforming in ways that make it frustrating to play against. It needs a proper look considering the fact it does just as well at 12.7 as 11.7 and its making everything from 10.7 suffer.
Naval - Please stop adding content to a gamemode that a tiny fraction of the playerbase actually plays. Polish what’s there before expanding it.
Radar and tracking issues - Radars dropping lock randomly, filters not behaving correctly, and general inconsistencies with how they should work at top tier. This stuff directly impacts high-tier gameplay.
An update focused entirely on fixing these kinds of issues would do more for player retention than another wave of new vehicles and premiums.
Yes they wouldn’t get as much money from that but it would probably make the community happy for the fact they finally fixed a good chunk of the issues.

Look at the win rate and K/D stats. The US needs a new tank. For the last two or three years, the US has been getting nothing but junk.
After top tier copy paste leopard 2s and f16s, it looks like this little “FDI” ship could also arrive at least for France, Greece and Sweden whenever modern naval is a thing
