Next patch and beyond wishlist(Everything except Tech Trees) (Part 3)

and the russian battleship was a blueprint? your point being

Lol no. The Soviet battleships were laid down and those have a entirely different set of rules for implementation.

hmm what about the fake f16aj?

Gaijin already said it was an exception to the rule since Japan had literally nothing. Should try to read the dev blog.

hmm feels like the rules change with every patch but oh well

Sometimes it feels that way. Nothing is ever consistent but I doubt it’ll change that drastically where we start to get wooden vehicles.

true that, although some wooden vehicle would be interesting to see and would be something unique and not the current thing of constant copy-paste, feels like top tier is becoming a blur of the same vehicles with nothing fun and unique

They also had a whole thing where they insisted it was prototyped because they didn’t research it properly.

So it probably wasn’t even planned as exception, they just thought it wasn’t an issue until people pointed it out, then dug themselves a deeper and deeper hole for no reason all to make a paper aircraft they didn’t know was never made seem more realistic than it actually is.

I’m still waiting to see if it gets removed.

This suggestion is i think really scratches of what could be added. We know that for ships the criteria is different, so that one unique piece of a shit means that the ship can be added.

So my proposal is the german battleship H-44. What was kind of sorta made is the gun. While IRL it was planned to have 4x2 508mm (20 inch) cannons, germany never made such cannons. What they made was the 533mm (21 inch) Gerät 36. We dont have pictures of it, but we have drawings and some pattents. At least one gun was built. So knowing that Gaijin just literally released a proven fake permium not long ago (Ostwind II in the pack), i think that adding the H-44 with 8 of these guns would make sense.
Drawings of the turrets:

Now you might think, that a ship with 8 pieces of 533mm guns would be too OP, i have to tell you that actually it would not.

Despite the huge guns, the shells are actually pretty light at “only” 2200kg with 820m/s velocity and 45kg filler, giving the following penetration figures:

This might make the case that it will be OP, so here is where it would be balanced:
Rate of fire according to sources is less than 1 round per minute per barrel, and even more importantly, the H-44s dont actually have good armor. In fact it would have worse armor than the Soyuz.

In an actual Naval AB/RB match this ship would be pretty much useless, because on those maps at best it can 1shot an enemy ship, then get blown up by the very good mechanic of “barbette fire” before it can reload.

Right now the Thai OCU would be in a perfect place to do it if they fixed it. If they just removed those AMRAAMs it couldn’t even use it’d be armed like the Belgian OCU, which just so happens to be the same BR as the F-16AJ.

It’d also make it less of a weird mix of different Thai F-16s so we could see something like an F-16A (e)MLU or if they really want obscure Thai upgraded aircraft an F-16B OCU with Python 3/4 and DASH HMD.

Makes me sad we don’t have any of these.

The long barrel 45mm guns would have ~950 m/s, so they would pen 94-95mm.

Would love to see the missing dozen or so AML’s added

Yeah, I would especially want those long barreled 45mm’s.

A TT WWII Frigate for the UK would be nice to see, plenty of options too. Sadly the only WW2 frigate for the UK is locked behind a pay wall in the marketplace.

Hot

The hell is that?

So a worse M60 with even worse APFSDS?

If you cared about making a point you’d know the requirements for ships being added to naval is way different
