( the end variant is much tame compared to what was proposed but still )
Also, wanna add this is not a modernized PT-76, but a totally new hull + turret as well

I read that but it got the PT-76 blood line in her. Seems to take a lot of ideas from Late / Post Cold War Russian designs. Still would be great to see in game as amphibious vehicles are never used to there peak abilities. Hopefully it gets some sort of spall liner / Kevlar armor to resist .50cals.
The ultimate Mirage should make its way into the game this year, it would be the perfect addition to the french tech tree in the form of a premium or tech tree vehicle. The Mirage 2000 platform is suffering a bit due to the radar currently, and the PESA RBE2 radar on it would solve that issue, as well as having the IRST/TV on it to fire the MICA as well if necessary.

When mica vl is actually added
Of course we need it. Especially for the Japanese tech tree… The Type 03 performs very poorly against close-range aerial targets (of course, because this vehicle isn’t used for that), and as for the Type 81… it can carry two types of SAMs (ARH/IR). However, the Type 81 ARH’s cons is that its launcher isn’t vertical (meaning you can’t freely deploy the TEL launcher and need to deploy it in a wide area with no obstacles blocking the TEL platform from firing (ofc you can’t hide it). If the VL Mica is added, this problem will be solved, as it will address both of these shortcomings.
- The Type 03’s poor performance against very close-range targets (of course, because it wasn’t designed for that!)
- The Type 81 (ARH) is limited because its TEL isn’t Vertical and requires a wide enough space to use its TEL to “work optimally.” And the VL Mica exists to address both of these issues. First, the VL Mica has two types of ammunition: Mica EM (for long-range targets) and Mica IR (for short-range targets). a thing that also exists in the Type 81 ARH because it has 2 types of ammunition options that can be chosen depending on your current condition, and most importantly this thing is the Vertical TEL Launcher! that means you don’t need to think about where to bring this thing up and you can hide the Launcher behind the house which will make it difficult for CAS aircraft to destroy you!. the performance of both Mica variants has also really good (especially Mica EM in the game), With the emergence of Mica IR it will be a direct competitor of the current IRIS T SL / AIM 9X b2, And its performance will certainly be very well against close range air targets (Although I’m sure MICA EM will also perform very well even against close range air targets)
