It’s possible but we’ll have to see on the political side of it
officials have multiple meetings with Elbit Systems about the Iron Fist and the last one was at 26/8/2026 so i am coping because the subject of putting an APS at the HELs its for years open, and for the HEL in the previous DEFEA we had the upgraded Leonidas so i hope its the Leopards 1A5GR turn now to get an upgrade
One prototype of this upgraded M60 was made.
I’m far from an being an Italy main but this could be fun.

Can’t wait to get like 50 joint Belgian designs in the Benelux subtree, because there are literally hundreds of vehicles that used Belgian-designed turrets, including vehicles that are already ingame, like the CV90105, CT-CV 105HP, Boxer MGS, and the Harimau. /s

I never thought I’d see a Modernized Leo 1. That’s awesome sauce.
Makes sense with the overpressure improvements and HESH getting more bang for its buck could work without finding special prototype rounds. However this might be a monster in infantry mode at what ever the whole infantry mode BR works out as.
