It’s not quite. it’s the s1 turret mounted to a modfied 2a7 chassis
either way it looks really damn cool

Im Not the smartest when it comes to Canadian or danish Leopards but I believe that’s danish due to the fact it’s using a mg3 and not the Canadian used FN MAG (please correct me if wrong)
Yeah, long barrel is the main difference as it’s a 2A5 vs a 2A6
These were just bought from Germany iirc when these were brought down in 2005ish or so, cause we were second to bring (tanks) our Leo 2A5DKs to Afghan

Oh I know they were brought and rushed over there but instantly they (the Canadians) replaced the mg3s with their main service machine gun
Eventually they did but given they were basically immediately sent they ended up using them. I’m sure someone is more knowledgeable on them but it’s one of the reasons it’s so hard to tell our vehicles from them without a side view
Biggest giveaway though it the dual prong antenna
