F-5E+, 2 years ago the US Navy Bought some of Switzerland’s retired F-5E+'s and F-5F+'s (or just simply tiger IIIs) for its aggressor squadron with delivery’s of them spreading between 2024 and 2028 with the first one arriving the same year
in game it would be a F-5E boasting AIM-9L/Ms (depending if gaijin sticks it to having 2 or 4 missiles) as well as 90s weaponry so possibly AGM-65Ds and AGM-65Gs

i know aviation weekly isn’t the most trusted news source but they’ve leaked quite a bit about what the F-35 is capable of and is quite well known to include stuff that typically wouldn’t be public

And unfortunately I think 2a6a3 would be irrelevant now but 2a7a1 could be a good replacement for it
I could see 2A7A1 being better due to APS (which would help it against CAS), but why would 2A6A3 be irrelevant now? Won’t it’s armor be good enough for tank to tank engagement?
It misses a lot of the crucial areas of the 2a7Vs improved armour while the shatter plate would still help against bad shots there’s just a lot still exposed and maybe not irrelevant but it should came way before 2a7V Gajin have messed up the German mbts imo
Given the stuff BvvD has said the next update is very likely either naval or air focussed, since June is usually when naval stuff happens, and BvvD said we’d get some fancy new toy for air battles in the first half of 2026, which we haven’t gotten so far.
(I forgot exactly what fancy new toy it was, I couldn’t care less for high tier plane combat since I’m a ground main with a burning hatred for CAS)
Fancy new toy is a broad term for modern aviation if he meant it that way, it could be just about anything, in the case of which I’m secretly hoping for the FCK-1. If it’s in general, maybe we can get another mixed-propulsion aircraft like the I-250 or the Ryan XF2R Dark Shark, preferably in the tech tree.
