Judging this photo only I can’t quite tell.
Would be a solid addition imo since its an uparmored version of the event XM8 without being as heavy as the level 3 armor scheme. Should make it almost invulnerable against machine gun fire.

With M900 it will be good alternative to M10 Booker.
Dont get me wrong I like my booker a lot but lacking mobility is kinda off in my book, XM-8 would solve that problem while retaining same firepower capability.
Considering it is the prototype, it will have Crotale NG standard, not Crotale Mk.3 standard seen on ItO-90M. When it comes to differences, missiles will have 12km range, not 15km range, 6000m max altitude instead of 9000m of the Mk.3 and some unspecified radar upgrades.
That does not matter in game tho, as we have ItO-90 performance, named ItO-90M, or in other words we have ItO-90M without everything that makes it M.
Oh, also Gen 1 thermals iirc.

Training model, guns and radar are just dummies used to help crews learn, the guns here are also missing the extensions to replicate the actual length

Luckily there are still a number of other light tanks on the XM8 chassis which can find their way into the tec tree. Ofc the one mentioned above but also the:
BAE XM1302 MPF (with or without Iron Fist APS)

But the XM8 level 2 is by far the easiest for Gaijin to add to the tec tree since its basically already ingame.

Ehh not to mention it doesn’t have 30mm Gatling gun plus no cm at 9.0 would be pretty bad since the gepard, ir missiles, Ifvs with he vt, 155 mm with hevt that plane would be better at 8.3-7.0
Honestly I just want to be able to enjoy something like the a10/su25 guns without having to always and I mean always worrying about something like 2s38 and osa/strela or something that are like those as they’re always a problem and can never get in close enough to gun run without blowing the fck up
