what do they expect the wood to do exactly? I’m not convinced about it’s effect on high velocity projectiles, and I’m not convinced about the camouflage benefits either
They used it during the fighting with Cambodia and it probably worked, now you see them on almost every vehicle.

its pretty much just spaced armor, actually does work on smaller HEAT warheads apparently. no good against any big or tandem warheads though

Nah ur right. 3UBM22, BR-281U, OU28 or whatever that proxy is on the 2S38, and the 12.7 gets API-T(c) and FI-T with 30000000g of HE filler

Definitely not but supposedly the cannon was the Sh-57. Don’t know how accurate this is but it fired OF, BR and OR in its testing phases. This weapon was also tested on the MiG-9 or a variation of it.
