Visually I would not be able to recognise any difference. Except the folding wings and the paint job.
Well also 2 more hardpoints. But at least the F-2 has a larger wing than a F-16, Mig-29 and Mig-29K still same size.
A simple drawing isn’t exactly the best way to visually distinguish them
Tail stinger for one is completely different, can’t really see that in a drawing
Are they talking about MiG-29Kr 9.41 or MiG-29K 9.31? because a lot of those are incorrect for one if not both.

mig29 may look the same but each one got its own things
exemple:
mig29k:ealy r77 naval capable mig29
mig29kr: new build mig29 9.41 with r77-1 and naval capable with new strike like guided bomb, kh29…
mig29m: basicly the early mig29m with only r77
mig29m / m2: new built mig29 based on the same platform as 9.41, r77-1 and kh38
mig35: mig29m2 but better, depend which one we get, asea or pesa, kh38 and r77-1 / grom bomb
Yeah I said copy paste because of the platform’s modeling.
Not because it has the same armaments over all the versions, obviusly its gonna have differente/better loadouts than the older counterparts.

maybe not the 9.31 since it will be just a naval smt, but other like KR and 35 are a good addition for 13.7 and 14.0
Well as I said I meant for visual body/model. Idk how to call the same looking plane with other armaments, not like an original design, new, never seen before.
Yeah so, I’m not sure sure that really applies well to 29K 9.31…

The 13-14% thrust increase figure matches that of 9.41 based airframe w/ RD-33MK which I doubt RD-33Ks match (but It’s been a while since I’ve taken a look)

I don’t think MiG-29K would’ve gotten L-150 or any new RWR, since afaik it had SPO-15 during the 80s

MiG-29K/M could only carry 4 Kh-29s, not 6

It had “access” to things like 29L/25ML/500L, but wouldn’t have any means to designate since iirc the IRST doesn’t feature a laser designation suite like 30MK2’s, and obviously a targeting pod wasn’t available.
I’m curious because I see it everywhere but where is this mystical MiG-29 PESA? BARS-29 has been dead for ages?

Well thats just internal changes, something you wouldnt notice by looking the aircraft from outside. Also ingame, those changes just mean a change in the code, not a new model of aircraft.

Directly, the MiG-29K has larger wings, larger armament, navalized with folding wings, arrestor gear, etc., and a couple other things. It would fly and look differently from a regular MiG-29.

You know when I say copy paste its not literally, like placing the same plane with same loadout but with a different skin.
I mean just the model of the plane, it can have different loadout or a little more thrust/weight.
I was just saying the list of differences you posted above was incorrect on a decent chunk of what it says.

From what I searched they have the same wingspan. But yeah the folded wing its a change, not present in WT like the hornet or other planes.
