so is it real?
I only know Chinese PLZ-07 fits this, maybe other earlier China 122mm SPG.
As I know, almost only China keeps developing 122mm carriers

idk what are the chinese doing lately, going down from 125mm to 105mm in mbt and 155m to 122m in arti.

not this and not recently, just they keeps their layers of artillery units. it’s not a very good idea to fully switch to 155mm, as it requires further reconnaissance and logistic ability that beyond the units artillery belongs.
as for the Type 100 tank, it is said to be designed to meet some harsh standard, possibly weight and some others.

yeah i mean possibly for the drop from plane to land or sea for some event

140mm is also under development.
maybe 50-60t with 140mm?
99a/b(new tank) and 96a/15(ztz100)

60t ? do you think they are like the british ? they need the most light wieght for the boats

Search up the polish 2S1-T

long ago, probably given up. new things may be developing over it.
but currently Chinese army lacks motivation of developing heavy platforms for clear reason.
