The platform radar is mounted on can spin, to preform a 360, but in game it would be limited to LOS, do to sight having to be in line with the gun.

It’s not. It’s a runway cratering/A2AD weapon. The only difference is most countries decided having the dispenser stay attached to your aircraft is a stupid idea to end up with FOD to the dispenser aircraft.

JP-223 was a successful weapon the only issue with it was the attack run you had to be low and vulnerable to ground fire.
No other nation had a mass Clustering/mine/HEAT dispenser, US and Russia had bombs with submunitions.

Disconnecting the dispenser from the aircraft doesn’t change anything, except reducing the risk of FOD. They all act as a cluster munition.

Completely different, WCMD is a bomb and the spread was not as controlled that’s the point it was a more accurate way to deliver the bomblets exactly where you wanted them.
Tornado and was the aircraft tasked with disabling Iraqi airfields because of the weapon system it carried. It was also tasked with first strike on Russian/Soviet airfields. They acheived in Iraq causing more disruption than the B-52 high alt drops and the F-111 strikes.
During the conflict the decision was changed with high altitude laser guided bombs and well the Iraqi airforce was combat ineffective.
