True. But the new gen micas aren’t even in service yet so the F.4 probably ain’t coming anytime soon, the F.3R will likely stay as the top jet for France and will just keep going up with the meta

I understand that, issue is we’re reaching a point in technology where gaijin will either have to add weapons not properly in service for the sake of balance or we’ll have to stay with old weaponry and then what? At some point gaijin will have to start bending around these things because at the pace we’re going, something has to be done, and it’s definitely not Meteors & co. at least not without a major game mode redesign and a lot bigger maps
Or… or we could just slow down, stop pushing the meta up so fast and focus on filling holes and adding unique stuff to all trees. There’s so much stuff missing in all air trees, and as a rank 5 air player I would really appreciate more stuff there (Aquilon when? Mystère 3 when?)

It’s too late for that, gaijin rushed the whole meta when they brightly decided to bring Typhoon and Rafale before Legacy Hornets, the correct thing to do at the time (which they would end up doing anyway) would be to add the Swiss Hornet to Germany and Australian Hornet to Britain, and for Italy they could have bumped the ADF like they just did or even add the Spanish Hornet (since the Hungarian line doesn’t have anything better than the Gripen anyway) and the Typhoon/Rafale could’ve come at the end of this year, perhaps with a step up in missiles, and the BR decompression we currently have isn’t really enough just yet.
They opened the door to gen 4.5s, well they gotta add equivalents to everyone now

It is not justification. As i said not everything has a photographic evidence and you cant just justify your skepsis with “i’ve seen no pics so it’s not true”. Same with documents. LMUR is very recent addition to Russian helicopters irl so a lot of the iformation just doesn’t exist in open sources. In this case i am willing to trust Gajijn. If they say 8 missiles then it’s 8. If it’s gonna be proven otherwise and changed - not a problem.
Indeed, they rushed too much, and the Typhoon had been denied for December last year at one point but they went and added it anyway, worst is they were already setting up the German tree for Switzerland which would give them the Hornet anyway (which is a pretty good jet, would shine even more if the eurocanards weren’t added before it), Hornets didn’t get a deserved spotlight and that’s sad. The (tech and role) equivalents to the Typhoon/Rafale are Super Hornets, not the Legacy, but even the old one was added AFTER those lmao literally facepalm worthy, what the heck was all the rush for if the subtrees would’ve added the jets to include Germany and UK into gen 4s

It’s not brand new, should be able to find official sources showing how many can be carried.
Not with LMURs. They were put into service in 2022. 2019 were just trials on Mi-28. Maybe in the future with the export version getting into full release there will be definitive proof in open sources about how many of them can be carried by Mi-28, right now it’s just pure speculation based on specific loadouts for specific mission parameters.
Forgot to add that I agree with gap filling by the way, the right thing to do now is add gen 4.5s and BR counterparts at top tier for everyone, (China and Japan specially lack these), the Hornets are good but not quite proper top tiers and can’t hold a candle to Typhoon and Rafale in performance, so they add options for those lacking such while they fill gaps, flesh out subtrees and the like before we inevitably move on to gen 5, speaking of which we need a lot more mechanics before that as well, ECM, SEAD with anti radiation missiles (specially because we’re getting the Anti Air vehicles those missiles are able to target) and the rest of anti ship missiles, I’d like to see more dynamic air RB matches with AI SPAAs to take down with SEAD, more ships on maps with sea/coast
