Yes i understand that, and honestly i would be completely fine with that, for example, the mantlet on the Crusader Mk. II tanks their mantlet should have 63,5mm to 50.8mm of armor on the sides, and 76.2mm on the center, in War Thunder it’s currently only 30mm, like you said a really substantial difference.

But, the Crusader is supposed to be a really strong tank in a hull down position, which isn’t the case at all in War Thunder, even though it should be. But that alone isn’t really worth bumping the Crusader from 2.7 to a higher br, although it would be a extremely good change (and a needed one) for the tank. Even though it’s a very easy change… gaijin refuses to do it.

Japan Steel Works 120mm L/44 smoothbore gun used by the STC-1 and the TKX-0002 prototype
had superior accuracy and higher armor penetration than the Rheinmetall 120mm L/44 gun as proven during tests conducted by the JSDF in 1983.

Should have been folderd with the first type 90

Leopard 2AV prototype from 1976
Had a very high armor protection thanks to its highly complex composite armor, but weighed ~58t compared to 55t limit.
420mm vs APFSDS/750mm vs HEAT

The complicated composite armor of the Leopard 2AV was replaced with a simpler spaced “bulging plate” composite armor developed by Blohm & Voss for use in the Leopard 2A0-A3.
280mm vs APFSDS/450mm vs HEAT

Leopard 2A4 would later get the Type B composite armor.
350mm vs APFSDS/700mm vs HEAT

As much as I love this tank and want to see it in game at some point I don’t think it meet the criterias due to having mockup turret with no installed FCS nor real gun.
