There was a test model ordered from Germany, but then some were assembled at the factory where the Fuchs are made
Apart from that, I have no information about it since I’m not really informed about the Algerian boxers… And its generally very difficult, if not impossible, to obtain details about military gear in Algeria
That’s valid, it’s just weird because it looks like there were potentially some big orders and I’m surprised we haven’t seen any during parades and such unless the plant is used to build them and export then on behalf of Rheinmetall for the time being. Maybe Algeria held off on production for now? Idk.
There are many deployed systems that we usually don’t see during the parades tbh, for example the S-400, the Vityaz, SR-5… But I personally believe that there isnt a large number of Algerian Boxers too yes. Otherwise we would probably have already seen a large number of them rolling around, the high command generally likes to flex IFVs during parades.
There was only one parade that I know of where it was seen, at the end of January 2018. (picture below)
maybe T-64AV and T-72AV can be implemented as modifications for existing vehicles
the T-64MV is also interesting since it replaced the 5TDF with V46 engine
one thing for sure is that there a high chance that algeria have the boxer, we can see it the military purchace btw algeria and germany. From truck to 4x4, apc, mlrs, arti and even in civilian side.
It’s a 2S38 w/ Ataka missiles on a way better platform with hydraulic suspension (if not removed from original BMP-3 chassis). It eliminates the two biggest issues with the 2S38- Lack of depression and lack of penetration against MBTs frontally.
Threw in a stock image of Spain + German flag to sweeten the deal :sob:
If a Spanish EV-A8B was going to come to the game, it’d *likely come to Italy as an analogue to the AV-8B (NA) / Harrier T.10 premium. They love spreading near-identical Harrier platforms (AV-8A / GR.1 / AV-8S) as premiums and Italy already have the AV-8B+ (similar to the US, and better than the FA.2)
