there is a lot of Persian sources and also english sources about it, they have armed with new weapon like guided bombs and etc probably with help of Russia. so they can add it to Russia as a new upgraded Su-22:

everything i know is you can google it, sources are mostly persian and english. they added many new weapons to it and avionics for example they may did not upgrade avionics, but for example there is a new advanced Targeting POD with new presion weapon like cruise missiles, guided bombs, and etc

Yes, there is a lot of information about weapons. However, I was unable to find any official sources about weapons and their specifications. Most of the information I found was in the form of snippets and photos, but there was one exception that was not enough. It was an article from Combat Aircraft Monthly that had already been removed, but it was still available to one person who I found it from. I need documented information, such as an official website or a book, in order to share it with a person who can provide it directly to the developers. This way, we might be able to bring the release date of this aircraft closer to the game. I chose to contact you specifically because I understand that you are from Iran and have interesting sources, such as the Iranian Phantom. However, thank you for your assistance.

if war thunder want to add iranian su-22, there is a lot of websites in Persian language that give you informations about the new weapon
short:
new weapon are glide bombs, bombs like GBU, cruise missile (air to ground), new guided air to ground rockets, new modern targeting pod, and etc
if war thunder want to add them, its easy for them to find new weapon specifications in Persian sources

it would only really be for the UFP, making it so the lower BR Shermans would have some means of effective armor protection against the long gun PZ.4s that have just about as much pen as the Sherman 76s (in game) the turret would still be as weak as it is now, so would the sides, or at least all the photos i’ve found with the extra armor in the field were just the UFP with some covering the transmission housing, but largely leaving the sides and turret alone, as the extra plastic/composite armor that was tested out and slapped on turrets shown in some drawings never reached any full scale production, as shown in the image below
