The proposed 5th gen version is the KF21EX. AFAIK there hasn’t been a final decision on whether or not SK wants to procure/develop it yet.

The only distinction between the PL-15E and PL-15 lies in their software systems, while the PL-12AE shares an identically sized rocket motor with the PL-15(E). So from my quite limited understanding of A2A missiles the PL-12AE is more optimized for close-medium ranges compared to the PL-15E even tho they share the same rocket motor?
This would mainly be due to the lack of a dual pulse functionality and less aerodynamic nose cone and larger fins. Since both missiles share almost identical dimensions and weight with a few minor discrepancies.
Correct?

Sign me in, i already love my JF17 and from what i’ve heard this version also comes with AESA radar and MAW system, just didnt knew it had extra countermeasures.

Ability to keep empty fuel tanks/manually jettison empty weaponry
yes we have automatic jettison when empty but it’ll be nice to have a more realistic theme with it or maybe people who want to not have auto jettison but be able to jettison it off themselves when needed

Its an F-16, that’s enough for Gaijin. Doesn’t matter if it actually ever carried them.
