The whole series of T-72M1M’s are interesting

Wish for the near future? Being able to surpass the current level 100 Marshal. Some new levels/ranks would be great!

Oh and in terms of decals, would be cool that if you bought a talisman for a vehicles that this will also include 4 usable decal slots.

Or just a seperate buyable option to unlock 4 decal slots for a specific vehicle.

I would like to be able to unlock the base Tu-2 but I understand it’s a rare plane, so maybe we could get it as a separate premium/event for any notable tu-2 pilots like it’s test flight pilot Mikhail Nukhtinov?

That way those who have the original Tu-2 won’t have it’s rarity effected and those who haven’t got it before can experience a previously inaccessible variant.

A better rank III premium for the Italian Bluewater fleet would be nice, the RN Tigre just isn’t it.

T-80s - For the love of christ, remove the T-80B and T-80U from the TT and give us actual variants.

I’m only really gonna list visible differences and set standards, the internal changes to crap like the FCS and minor QOL stuff change WAY too often for me to be sure of my words.
I also doubt you want to hear exactly which variants replaced 3-axis adjustable seats with 5-axis.

T-80 1975 | '219-1

The first of its kind!

image

T-80 1976-1978 | '219-2

It’s a prototype, what’s to say.
Slightly altered armor array in comparison to T-64A, though it might as well the same tank at this point.

'785 197?

Doesn’t exist I guess
T-80 with lengthened hull, extra support for the turret, and the original high-pressure 2A82 125mm.

image

'219RD 19??

T-80, but designed to utilize 2V-16-2 instead of GTD-1000T

image

image

'644 197?

T-80 with… Yknow, literally ANY engine but the GTD-1000T
This one used a V-46

image

'478 1976-1981

T-80B with a 6TD-1 (yuck) diesel replacing the GTD-1000TF

T-80B 1978-1982 | '219R

1979 - Initial prod
1980 - GTD-1000T → GTD-1000TF

God only knows if images of the original-spec T-80B actually exist on the internet.

T-80B 1983-1985 (BV '85) | '219RM ('219RV)

Upgraded variant of T-80B
1982 - 2A26-2 → 2A46M-1
1982 - Turret now used by late-prod T-64BVs, funnily enough
1982 - 30mm «Отражаемость» plate welded to UFP, splash guard removed
1984 - Kontakt-1 4S22 kit
1985 - New hull armor array to match T-80U prod spec

T-80BK 1983 | '630

It can talk to people n stuff
Based on a 1983 T-80B '219R

T-80A 1983 (AV 1984) | '219A (?????)

'80s spec T-80B with a revised turret. Only a few dozen were made, go to Kubinka if you want to see its “unique” turret… It’s literally just a T-80B that costs way too much to produce though.

image
image

T-80U 1985 | '219AS

New turret, new hull, GTD-1000TF → GTD-1250, Kontakt-5 4S22 kit… I’m not listing all of this.

T-80U 1987 | '219AS

Yes, it’s the same designation as the T-80U of 1985… It’s literally just a T-80UD turret on a T-80U hull.

image
image

T-80UD 1987 | '478B

Goodbye reverse gear! And the House of Soviets, while we’re on the topic…
Diesel T-80U with revised turret. It was a way of Omsk saying “no money, no engines… Kharkov! Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth!”

Black Eagle 1988-2009 | '640

Longest-lasting flop of the Soviet Union. It got the head start against the Object 195 and STILL managed to screw it all up… Maybe it would help if it spent its 2 decades of development as something other than literal fiction.

T-80UM 1992 | '219AS-M

The T-80U did indeed have Agava-2! All 10 of them…

T-80UK 1992 | '630A

Funnily enough, there are some 1987 spec T-80UKs out there… I’ve seen one before, but I can’t find any imagery.

T-80UM-1 1997 | '219AS-M1

'219AM ?? / '219M ??

I literally have no clue
'85 spec T-80U with ANOTHER Arena set.

image

T-80UA / T-80BV-RM 2005 | '219M2 / '219AM2

The “they hit the Pentagon” of T-80U prototypes, right when you think they’re done another one hits
Who the hell is letting Omsk modify these things

In all seriousness, I have absolutely no clue on specifics for this. There was one singular model made to contest with the 3.5 gen race, of which every vehicle of the 3.5 gen program had to talk to the hand.
As far as I can see, it has 4 names and only exists in pipe dreams.

T-80BVM doesn’t exist, nuh uh.
Any Russian vehicle beyond 2010 is watered down cost-efficient trash to begin with.

A couple more can be added to that list:

Object 219RD
object 785 (kind of a t-80)
Object 478
Object 476 (kind of similar to 478)
Object 640
Object 003 (t-64 with a gas turbine engine)

I feel like something like this should have sub-trees as a folder.

I’ll write it out in a bit, drinkin my appy juis

478 was one I forgot about.

I honestly missed a LOT of vehicles, funnily enough. I’ll come back and edit it after I do a bit of thinking.

Given the context, I’m not sure if you meant what I think you meant, but whatever it is it sounds promising.

I’m going to expand my comment up to all other Soviet variants of MBTs that I can find sometime soon, might grab myself a topic of my own for cataloguing them.

For now though, not putting T-64s in.

I can’t stand the not having basic T-80U/T-80BV’s in-game. I think it’s time to swap them out and implement the original versions or redesignate them.

Absolutely. The fact that we have an amalgamation of 4 different T-80Bs smashed into one singular vehicle is abhorrent… You have incorrect armor, incorrect FCS elements, anachronistic weaponry, so on.
