those are not smoke grenades, they are part of the combat simulation system, basically lasertag for tanks

🇵🇱 K2GF Black Panther

These Black Panthers were spotted in Slovakia during exercises. This provides a good view of the vehicle’s ERA layout, being seen on the sides of the hull and turret, turret top, and by the Driver’s Hatch.

The top image showcase the large composite armor blocks throughout the vehicle’s hull and the bottom image is the armor composite inserted into the cheeks.

Since we’re (most) likely getting the multi-vehicle SAM System IRIS-T SLM, I’d like to offer some U.K. and its sub-tree’s options:

Sky Sabre - United Kingdom

While it can definitely operate on its own, the system is paired with the Giraffe Agile Multi-beam RADAR vehicle.

Umkhonto GBAD System - South Africa

A South African designed system that utilizes a multitude of different missile types such as IR and ARH.

Akash - India

The Akash Anti-Air System is a proven heavy air denial system that uses the Rajendra RADAR vehicle for guidance.

Quick Reaction Surface-to-Air Missile system (QRSAM) - India

Another indigenous system with unique RADAR vehicle that features 4x AESA RADAR panels integrated on solid surfaces of the vehicle.

M-84AB1 aka M-2001. At first it looks like a T-90, but that’s just because of the Shtora. It’s on a M-84A, using Kontakt 5, a TOMS panoramic surveillance and observation station and a passive intelligence radar system. It’s best APFSDS shell that it can fire is the PLO-TM M88, which is either a copy or licensed version of the CL3579 Mk2. Sights are either Catherine-QW or PNK-4S, idk. Possibly also has a faster reload and spall liners, as brochure mentions new autoloader aswell as protection system inside. Oh and also it has a 1200hp engine. Sadly I think it might still have the terrible transmission reverse speed
