BMP-2M completely covered in pieces of wire 🤪
Gaijin be like: “Armor? What armor?”
But seriously would love to see it finally, we need wheeled and fast “light” tanks.
W… Why?
If I remember correctly, it was to tangle or catch the wire of any attacking fiber optic fpv drones.
are the BMP-2M ATGM wire guided?
They are LOSBR
what does that stand for
Line of sight beam riding
Or beam riding for short
would the wires on that BMP would cause issues with the beam?
There is a chance it would.
But let’s be real here, you won’t launch the missile out of that.

Ukrainian AB-13 heavy ifv, designed for export to Jordan.
Bmp2 turret, Centurion hull and T-64 engine.
A real Frankenstein tank, that’s for sure
Light AA MK1 with 2 15cm besa guns
Light AA MK2 late
Light AA MK2 early
They (the British Army) have been looking into it, but anything more than that is awaiting the conclusion of the strategic defence review, which should be published soon™.
If they do pursue a turret it would probably be the LMUK 40mm one, as it’s similar to Ajax’s so probably easier to produce.
15 cm, wow thats some heavy AA. ;)
I’m wondering if it could help against light tanks at a low br
