It’s a plague of modern gaming… For the love of christ, allow affinity-tethered logic processing. I’m done setting up a literal supercomputer and having it run a DXGI game at 50fps because developers have no clue how to optimize their game.
It’s so disgustingly bad that even the hangar itself faces a major bottleneck that doesn’t allow you to go beyond 150-155fps.
It’s a 14900K… Running 6.2GHz on each and every p-core. This is a joke. Not even x4 SSAA fixes it, as they force it to native resolution when you turn on ray tracing… I guess the only way to play this game is to buy an 8k monitor, since Gaijin doesn’t like people having freedom of choice.
The system itself is modular and can be tailored to fit reconnaissance, EW, and precision strike. Specifically, it can be equipped with a tandem-HEAT warhead to destroy heavy army targets at ranges in the tens of miles.
M2 is the IFV variant with less tow tube racks & more seats
M3 is essentially the recon variant with more tows & less seats
There’s some minor variance in later versions optics wise, but otherwise they’re identical
As Quartas said, it’s still around, its mostly just as case of the M2 & M3 being scoped down in roles by Stryker and the launch of the XM30 programme to replace both (the M2 & M3) by 2030ish. So we’re only seeing smaller upgrades & capability sustainment programmes rather than a larger upgrade programme.
Talking XM30, I really don’t get the whole idea of going for a non-bradley chassis? IIRC the AMPV, a Bradley based system, has only recently gone into full rate production, loosing that parts commonality seems a bit wasteful IMO
It will be armed with a new 30mm autocannon with airburst munitions developed by Leonardo, Spike LR2. ATGM’s, extended hull, Janus-D sighting system, new engine, and more.
