Its called Type 56 SY a Japanese artillery/howitzer
vehicle hull is based off the M37 HMC i believe has a 105mm gun
already have it on
yeah, used a lot of aluminium in the hull to reduce weight, wasn’t crushed, but was considered unsalvageable. It was however the later version with the same turret as the Vickers Mk.7.
Not the earlier model being talked about here with a 105 and worse armour, IMO (the early) would be a good 9.7/10.0 option depending on rounds.
Would be nice to see both in a AMX-32 style folder.

I have been hounding for the gun for awhile … I know I left the M1890 in the post after multiple edits coz I couldn’t guess the actual gun, so that was the last placeholder.
The barrel & the recuperator is too long … so, I concluded, it might be a very effective photo edit.
yea i’m not suprised , it’s a pretty obscure project
but i took the oportunity to put that out there , since i saw multiple times other the years people blindly claiming it’s THAT GUN , when in reality if you just search correctly a bit you can easely see that’s it’s not correct.
and in any case if they want a ST-CHAMOND platform with a larger caliber gun , they are other options then those 2 anyway that have more information linked to them
