FV107 Scimitar Mk.2

  • The Scimitar Mk. 2 is a modernized version of the notable Scimitar that has seen service as far back as the Falklands War. The vehicle is part of the Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance (Tracked) CVR(T) family and features a 30mm L21 RARDEN cannon which fires 30x170mm rounds, a coaxial 7.62mm L37A1 machine gun, ESPIRE thermal imager, counter-IED equipment, laser rangefinder, cage armor, and more. The vehicle is capable of firing a wide variety of ammunition, including an L21A1 APFSDS-T round though, not much information is available. The information available includes: 160g tungsten alloy penetrator in a plastic sabot; complete projectile 235g; MV 1,325 m/s. This would go a long way though it’s worth noting the gun is still unstabilized. The vehicle was withdrawn from service a few years ago, pending the Ajax AFV.
  • Estimated BR: 8.3-8.7

Iirc it cant do direct fire, none of the Nemo turrets can. Besides 120mm mortar at 10.7 would be silly but hell to play.

Yea and Mjölner is basically a dual traditional mortar with assisted loading arms. So can be taken out in direct engagement quite easily when the rounds are dangling outside.
Nemo and Rak are better in this regard.

Oh boy… before it happens and falcon goes to 9.0 for some god forsaken reason, let’s ask ourselves, do we really want to do this?
