Next Major Update "Sky Odyssey" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

noone has fitted them with spikes yet. Its under integration. Hungary also bought the full H-force package.
And the german version also has more sensors, RWR, different back doors and 5 rotor blades

Germany have. They’ve been tested with spikes quite a few times over the past years

perhaps i should have formulated my sentence more coherently. Its under integration, and the reason you only see it on German helicopters is because Germany is the first customer who does the integration and foots its bill.
But as i previously pointed out thats not the problem here. Even the early german H145M that first tested the spike in Romania had different doors. The current LKH is even more advanced. However Gaijin cant c&p the LKH to 4 tech trees, thus they took the early variant and gave it to Germany.

Apokollisi-Vasis-Oplismou-Elikoptero-EF-AKEL
Cyprus also has the same and they are in talks to buy put the spikes er2 in them

So we could get Rafale C/M F4.1 for Meteor + MICA NG and other munition variant(s) for France (and Japan!), same situation as JAS39E in Sweden that could be getting a post-6002 variant for Meteor et. al…

An extra ~430K RP won’t hurt 😢 Must be nice being GB/ITA/GER not needing to grind a whole new Eurofighter for likely to be incoming munitions…

3-4 weeks? Surely you mean November 😅

Yeah I wouldn’t be surprised if Su-15 + Su-35/F-15EX dropped same time.

Maybe there are other surprises too in that update before the Winter 👀

Pray for a planned technical maintenance news blog on Monday/Tuesday

Speaking of Drakens with CM, do you have any additional info on the Draken prototypes such as the Fpl 35-13 or Fpl 35-11 for example.

France could already get F.4.2.

If I’m not mistaken, sources state MICA NG is for Rafale F4.2

Correct. Unless it being retrofitted in future.

If in the future Meteors come, will the Rafale receive them and move up in br or a separate Rafale will come with the meteors

Do any non stealth jets have their reduced RCS modeled ingame?

I know the super hornet has the same rcs as the su57 irl for example

The embt is nice but we still ned more Leo’s for Germany like the 2a8 plz

If the current rafale stay at 14.7, yeah, a separate one could be added for Meteor + MICA NGs at ~15.0

Spoiler

Wait to see how regular MICA performs post-buff first… might have to adjust even the current Rafale to 15.0 and 15.3 for the NG

The F3 cant carry this

^^

The Fpl’s are the J-35 prototypes and testbeds. Fpl-35-11 & Fpl-35-13 tested several things including Countermeasures (ECM for the Fpl-35-11 and multiple CM types for the Fpl-35-13). There more specifically J-35D testbeds. Fpl-35-12 is similar but on a J-35F instead

then its a F4 i am talking if there isn’t another solution like the Gripen E or the Greek Rafale

F3R standard is compatible with the Meteor if that’s what you’re asking.

No, but they should.

IIRC it was the Super Hornet Block 3 that got reduced RCS.

I know that i am wondering when the Meteor is added if another Greek Rafale will come with the meteors or just rise the br of the Rafale. (because Greece only uses the F3)
