No like Istanbul is from the name Constantinople
Buddy the day ottoman conquered it was the day name practically died, and no it changed to İstanbul way before than 1930’s.
I know which is why I’m saying original name is gone.
Its devirated so technically original name is still kinda lives but not at the same time.

no? Ataturk change it in 1930 the official name until then was Constantinople

Ottomans didn’t call Constantinople until 1930’s, now sure name officially designated as İstanbul in 1930 but before that local people and even ottoman itsel called it either Konstantiniyye, İstanbul, Stambul or İslambul.
