no only kh 38tm can have ldircm resistance other iir seekers just arent advanced enough
I doubt it since they were only buffing SARH and ARH missiles yet to see buffs for IR missiles lol
only thing I need is for gaijin to finally add RCS to helicopter blades it would make ground 10x more enjoyable at top tier
Missile changes summary table posted by WAY326 on TieBa, not sure if anyone else has posted it here yet:
Basically massive drag and manoeuvrability buffs across the board. (also the AIM-120 CxK values were already buffed in the earlier dev server update, this is already post buff)
Or the even better and easier to read TL;DR:
EVEN THE C-5 PULLS LIKE AN R-77
Well even with the rcs.
Multipathing wozld protect them
the RCS generated from the blades would heavily dampen multipathing, not like missiles from the 2020 should be effected by multipathing at such altitudes to begin with
What’s the best arh after the changes?
Yes
Could be a bit more specific
Short stuff i heared still mica cause it got buffs as well
The answer is still Yes
Unlike live, most missiles on dev can pull “enough”. Which one actually pulls more Gs doesn’t matter as much as one would think it does.
But mica still has the best seeker, theres that
MICA, probably. But the others aren’t slouches either.
The one thing MICA lacked was range
Quick profile in Statshark for new vs. old MICA (1500 km/h launch and target head-on, 9 km alt, 40 km initial range). New MICA is faster in terminal but slower initially. Old MICA is still quicker to hit. Also doing a very weird loft, not sure if it’s Statshark bug or guidance was also changed somehow.
Someone should also do an actual test on the dev server.
Now only if AMRAAM got seeker buff, that would be nice (but other Buffs are very good as well)
There will obviously be another change, and all the missiles are very weird.
seeker report was shutdown this week because devs aparently have their own sources for 15 degrees
However the seeker lock on range of AIM-120D is still worse than what AIM-120A had IRL…
overslept
I’m not sure seeker lock range is actually that much of a benefit in War Thunder. Notching is relatively easy, and the more time you give someone to detect that they are locked to the more time they have to evade. It just seems more logical to me in war thunder to actually have smaller lock range and use the 90°+ FoV to track a target while in notch with the Gripen and EFT. And F15, F18… just have to crank as much as they can while guiding the missile ig
