Besides do you have image with them using 4 pylons I’m either blind or just have never seen them with more than 2 of them in use with the FAF.
I’ve been trying to find their 12.7mm gunpod as well, so far only mentions of it
there is actually a tank similar to the Arjun that trade mobility for firepower and better turret armor at 10.7 (except with same 1gen thermal but DM33 pen)

with the initial argument being a comparison showing AMBER as more functional than options in game
before they moved to goal posts to AMBER being functional

tbf it isnt the worst round at top tier there is L27A1 with 10mm less pen, there is 3BM60 with 4mm more pen and DTC10 with 1 mm more pen like OFL F1 isnt great but its pretty inline with the lower end shells
Well, Ariete’s turret cheeks are 400mm KE, while Arjun’s turret cheeks are 500-600mm KE.
You can do pretty good hull down in Arjun, while Ariete… far from it xD
Even Arjun’s mantlet is better than Ariete’s cheeks (up to 488mm KE)
Except for the bugged ready rack (REALLY hope they fix it, if they don’t, it will kill the tank entirely), I’m looking forward to Arjun more than OFL F1 EMBT, hahah.

It had the same reload as the 2A4 with a round identical to 3BM42. The 2A4’s only advantage is having 2 more rounds in it’s ready rack.
Unless they changed it with todays or yesterdays update.
It’s survivability will be mediocre anyway.
It’s a straight downgrade compared to the Leclerc lmao.
remember there is pretty weak composite behind the gunner sights, weak enough that M111 from a 105 can pen it so that is just another weakspot
So is there any real argument to suggest the dual pylon bomb racks then with the FAF Hawks in suggestion to the devs for the T.1?
I guess we have different opinions I can see having slightly worse mobility for a far better hull being a fair trade but thats just me
Mediocre is still better than terrible… the hull ammo should be the last to fill and first to be fired; instead, it’s the other way around now, so you are always forced to have 3 shells down there in the hull for some reason.
Still better overall armor than Leopard 2A4, while also being a smaller target!
Arjun and Leopard 2A4 vs 3BM46: even the mantlet provides interesting protection, unless they end up nerfing it like they do with most mantlets! (please, don’t).
So… yep, I’m unironically finding Arjun the most interesting MBT after Leopard 2HEL so far, hahah.
EMBT would need to get DM53 for my hype to come back for it.

out of curiosity why are you comparing it to a round found on 11.7+ tanks? wouldnt it be more fair to use 3BM42

Twin Stores Carrier with 250kg bombs should be valid for the Mk.51s with Mod.999 wings, and Finland’s ex-Swiss Mk.66s. Zimbabwe’s Mk.60s were often demonstrated carrying them on the same type of wing

Does 105mm DM23 still go through? Because when i checked the first day of the dev it did.
The EMBT trades the few things that were still actually good about the Leclerc and makes it worse.
All for hull armor that is pretty much useless on the EMBT.
That turret ring will make it BMPT fodder, arguably even more so than the Abrams before it’s volumetric change.

thats true but only really come up with autocannons since pretty much anything can also pen almost the entire turret at 12.7
As a 10.7, it will be seeing 11.7s one match after another, since Gaijin loves compression and uptiers so much xD.

If we are talking about for Finland then absolutely not, the devs are against feasible compatibility for anything below the MLU-2 and even then it’s given the bare necessities rather than full equipment.
For any other nation this would be neat to see though
