Next Major Update "Sky Odyssey" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

The comment you’re replying to is about the EFT. The Rafale does have 360 degree coverage provided by the airframe.

the EF has 360° coverage

ESM =/= ECM.

You see - I don’t think it does.

You’ve just told the AI to splurge out ‘Rafale has 360’ and it’s done as you’ve asked.

yes? they don’t really bring anything useful

kgf is fabrication that i still don’t understand why people constantly use on this forum.

Celsius is simplification to move the range to shorten speech with pretty self explanatory 0 point.

Degrees is weird, every math i do is necessarily in radians but the shorthands for common ones are not great so in game its easier that way.

Mach and G are very bad way to measure a lot of things, not to mention those things are usually brochures without any context nor they often have a lot of to do with reality.

But i definitely use mach for scenarios: Mach 1 SL launch - is absolutely what i would say because its convenient to jet combat. Atleast on sea level, I’d use proper speed over ground when talking flying high

even then the coverage you showed is incorrect for the AESA EFs

ontop of that you didnt show any sources for your data that you inputted into AI

Did anyone ever tell you that there is a world outside of whatever country you happen to be in?

I have two different primary sources showing it does. Why don’t you ask for the sources instead of getting yourself worked up?

Why don’t you show the sources instead of getting an AI to produce based on prompts that the rest of us cannot possibly know (regarding their accuracy)?

You’ve already fudged the EFT figures for example…

Because I’m not going to go that far to list every single one in that graphic. The other option though is that you could easily ask.

Why do you think the coverage provided by the internal jammers for the AESA-EFT is incorrect?

ESM yes but the integrated ECM is forward and rear. The side protection is provided by TRD.

mh idk since the radar can be used for ECM

Yeah ECRS can also provide stand off jamming. So CAPTOR-M vs CAPTOR-E is measueably different.

Where do you want to start with? You already have Gunjob in this thread stating:

introduction date has nothing to do with how things are added in game

Treaty of the meter (and later established International Bureau of Weights and Measures) is signed by everyone who existed at a time and use used literally everywhere except countries that crashed stuff into planets because they refused to use proper units.

ICAO in no uncertain terms defines SI as the only system and others are deprecated.

Update this week?

No why would it be ?

Yes that’s true, I should have included that as well since the radar can be used to point off on the side, but the TRD already covers that area as well.

next week at the earliest

and that only if the dev server closes this week
