i wasnt really aware tbh i dont have america or a nation that uses the sparrow (not counting the sparrows on export f16’s cuz i spaded them)
This is minor compared to literally having fake units on HMD J-10C
It’s not a competition as to which is worse, both should be fixed.

Sorry if someone has already asked this, but a few months back I believe you said that the devs were going to review the Challenger 2 ready rack report before the upcoming patch (this one).
The ready rack remains the same on the dev server, so I was just wondering if the devs are still working on this or if it has been denied for the time being.

most trees already have sub trees tho right? i don’t know if theres somewhere that could have a subtree added. i am WAY too lazy to check on sweden and russia atm to see if they have subtrees or not, but most nations already do.
fe: i was thinking of turkey for isreal since turkey is gonna put typhoons to service towards the end of 2026 or early 2027 (atleast what they said), but it does make sense maybe 4 nations shouldnt have typhoons
i mean it kinda is, we still don’t have for example topsight symbology (m2k and indian migs) and have circle of death.
You can see the code for it in files and its kind of black magic to draw these so i assume whoeover is the magician at gajin doesn’t have enough time to make them.
But you know if its placeholder you can copy paste them and just swap out function calls for .toFakeUnitOfRopeNobodyCaresAbout() to .toGloriousSIUnitOfLength()

manually tried to change the color of the afterburner of a custom skin with tools but also didnt work. we probably shouldnt discuss this here though.

Gaijin obviously has made HMDs with radar lock symbology.
Presumably it’s not impossible to put that functionality onto existing HMDs.
If the code is simply too old, I’d say it’s about time to update them. China finaly has their own domestic HMD represented, so it’s not like they couldn’t just use that instead of the Targo-II placeholder for the J-10.

Its not about old code, its just ultimately drawing complex systems with… lines based on pretty arbitrary values.
They just don’t have enough people-time that are skilled in this.
And its the same with all the new MFDs (tho they are less complex)
