Okay so like, here’s the thing though. The change to also target A2A isn’t actually a physical change, its a software update. So by gaijin’s existing standards the ASM-3 itself could target aircraft, like how some IR guided anti-ship weapons can target aircraft or tanks even when they’re programmed to target ships IRL.

Pretty much kind of. Though this would make ASM-3 the longest range AAM in game XD though considering its an anti ship missile at heart it probably wouldn’t turn all too well.
