A collection of the more interesting statements made by BVVD during the “Sky Odyssey” dev stream

Aviation

  • Question about 5th Gen aviation → “2nd half of 2026 didn’t end yet”
  • There are FnF versions of the LMM (on terminal phase), but for now we get the mass produced laser one
  • TGP (red square) now gives distance in 3rd person
  • Even missiles might not take down bombers with one hit
  • Bomb detonation in bomb bay rework (needs more pen and higher caliber now)
  • NE and Bullet Hell as a permanent modes
  • Bullet hell is only an additional side-mode, similar to how low count battles work
  • Mig-35S gets new HMS with advanced features
  • F/A-18E gets AARGM-ER
  • AH-64D-I Saraph gets Spike NLOS
  • F-16I Sufa gets Delilah (IR, TV, AshM versions)

Ground vehicles

  • Different set-ups for different vehicles (Type-10 has better turn/stop bc more modern transmission)
  • Each gear will have its own turn radius (regenerative steering)
  • Some tanks might not get reg. steering, Abrams for example
  • M103/T58 now have volumetric armor and new modules
  • Greek voice lines might come this patch
  • New Leo2 with APS might come this year
  • No Greek Leo2A4 this patch

Naval

  • Naval QoL - new info when hovering with mouse over modules
  • No info on AshM botes. It is quite hard to implement them in a fun way

Misc

  • Question about Korean TT → “No comment…”
  • Question about WW mode → “No comment…” (focused on NE)
  • Question about DLSS 5 → “No comment…”
  • New grid technology for big maps like Afghanistan
  • In new QoL top down sensor view, you can click on players and munitions for your camera to move with them
  • Making vehicles is pretty hard with advanced modules, hardest ones are from 70-80s, before the wide use of cameras and phones with cameras
  • No infantry test today
  • No more news on infantry (CBT focuses on the the technical side and fine tuning)
  • BVV_D has a fav Senrai maidens profile pic (current one)

On the document given yes both are 2nd gen, yet on dev stream the gunner seamed 1st gen blurry one, i wanted to ask clarification as they didn’t also show it on ru stream

EFT should have:

  • 6x AGM-88C if nothing else, if not 6x ALARM and 6x AARGM ideally as well
  • SAL Brimstone 2s or 3s, not 1s
  • GNSS+SAL Spear-3s
  • Spear-EWs would be really interesting for NE as well.

That is a fact. I get that the Rafale lacks loadout options, but it is a fact that the Typhoon has one of the most artificially nerfed A2G loadouts in-game currently, and none of the options that should be added would necessarily be any stronger than weapons already in-game for other nations.

What point are you trying to make? I know many people wanted the J35J added, getting it in such a poor state is gonna frustrate us a lot

this is what annoys me the constant stuff about next gen is making me realise we are likely getting at least ethe f35 at the end of the year, so there’s a possibility we get the f15EX after 5th gens, (which is fine for my personal needs, but sucks for it, as its gonna be f18c situation all over again lol.
